Today was her first puppy training class and she did really well! She was much bigger than her peers (25 lbs already o_O) but would play very gently with the smaller puppies.
The bad news is that she ate her first cat turd today. I suspect this will not be the last time.
And, and, AND, I am able to loose-leash walk her now, mostly ish. But it’s definitely improved.

How does the puppy enjoy driving? Hopefully not like TG dog which vomited on James may every time a car was driven....

She tolerates driving. I try to drive her as often as I can, hoping she will grow to love it.

You’ll find that she’ll eventually be able to tell when you’re arriving at your destination and that you’re arriving at PetSmart/PetCo.

Awesome! We have our first puppy class on Sunday.... But mostly what I take from this is that instead of the Seattle oppo meetup suggested on your Celica post, now we’re going to need a Pupposite Lock meetup.

I don’t have a dog, but I would like to come just to pet everyone else's.

My dog never actually ate cat poo, but I might try that just for fun. The dog seems to really enjoy it. Thanks for the tip

Try to drive her to more good stuff than “bad” if she equates it more of going to the park for example rather than the vet or some haircut place she will be more happy to come along. Unfortunately for my dog he has quite a few battle wounds and hates haircuts so he doesn’t really like to ride in the car.

I’ve been visiting my mom over the last couple of weeks. She has this gigantic dog. He stands hip high and weighs close to 100 lbs. One afternoon, I found this:
Yeah, that’s the bed I was sleeping in. That dog spends half his time outside and he sheds like crazy, so the bed was full of dog hair and filth. My next task for the day was to strip the bed and wash everything.
I was not amused.

Train or you’ll have a demon like this:
She can destroy anything, even as an old dog. She is currently working on destroying a tree branch.

Be careful what you wish for. My dog had two settings: on and also on
